  • AAHSA - The American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging is a national affiliate and dynamic leading organization that provides a network of communities across the country. Through this association a program for ongoing quality improvement called Quality First is established. Quality First is a philosophy of quality and a framework for earning public trust in aging services. More importantly, it is evidence of our commitment to help older adults live their lives to their fullest potential. Through Quality First, Longwood works in partnership with all stakeholders - government, consumers and the people we serve and their families - to create quality of care and quality of life in aging services.

  • PANPHA - An association of nonprofit senior services is the state affiliate that establishes a local network of communities who share ideas and best practices. The mission of this organization is to enhance members’ ability to provide quality services efficiently and effectively; and by representing members through cooperative action.

  • CARF/CCAC - Of utmost importance to each stakeholder is the fact that Longwood is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities / Continuing Care Accreditation Commission. This merged organization focuses on both the financial solvency of the retirement community and the operational best practices to also provide a means of ensuring quality.
