Registered Nurse
Responsible for the clinical and administrative needs of the unit. Coordinates and is accountable for the activities of the nursing unit. Implements nursing goals by planning, organizing, and controlling nursing interventions. Motivates and directs nursing personnel to ensure conformity with nursing philosophy and objectives to attain quality resident care.

Certified Nursing Assistant
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, provides direct resident care according to assignment and assists the professional nurse as indicated on the Plan of Care. Assists residents with transportation, meals and other basic care needs. Performs treatments, procedures, and nursing rehabilitation techniques as taught and approved by the facility to promote and maintain the health status of the resident.

Licensed Practical nurse
Assists in planning, implementing and evaluating the resident care. Provides leadership and direction to the Resident Care Associate for quality care. Functions within the guidelines of the Pennsylvania State Nurse Practice Act and the facility’s approved policy and procedure manuals. Assists the resident with activities of daily living and encourages appropriate self-care in order to encourage independence. Oversees the safe, accurate and timely use of medications. Reviews pharmacy deliveries and reconciles medication orders with drugs on hand.

Diet Aide
The primary purpose of this job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions including, but not limited to diet orders, menus, resident visits, trayline, cardex, and Health Care Center chart and discharge procedures. Assist with sanitation in the Health Care Center in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Kitchen Supervisor or Duty Manager to assure that quality service is provided at all times.

Server
The purpose of this position is to ensure that the dining experience is enjoyable through quality service by following established policies and procedures. Servers will follow current applicable federal, state and county standards, guidelines and regulations in regard to food service and sanitation. Servers may be directed by Dining Services management team members, to assure that quality and professional service is provided at all times.

Utility – Dining Services
This position is responsible for general kitchen sanitation, washing pots, pans, china, glassware and flatware, in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures as may be directed by the Manager on Duty and/or the Director of Dining Services. This is to assure a continuous quality of improvement for the Dining Services Department.

Laundry
Performs all laundry duties necessary to clean and process daily supply of linen of schedule. Processes soiled laundry in large capacity washing machines using appropriate formulas, temperatures, and chemicals according to existing procedures. Irons, folds stacks and sorts clothing and linen for residents and staff according to established quality standards. Uses universal precautions to prevent the spread of infection (cross-contamination), between the residents and the employees.

Housekeeping
Performs a variety of cleaning and servicing tasks in all areas and buildings. Provides housekeeping services for the efficient, clean, comfortable and safe operation of all departments.

Utility - Environmental Services
Provides a variety of cleaning, semi-skilled and unskilled servicing tasks in all areas and buildings. Provides cleaning services and floor care for the efficient, clean, comfortable and safe operation of all departments and areas.

Driver / Security
Responsible for securing buildings and campus as directed by Longwood at Oakmont policies. Perform a variety of simple, routine maintenance tasks as required to ensure the safety and comfort of residents, visitors and employees.

Operates Longwood at Oakmont or leased motor vehicle(s) in order to complete a variety of pick-up, delivery and other assignments, in order to meet business needs; provide maximum amount of independence to residents. Ensure vehicle(s) is maintained in a clean, safe and mechanically sound operating condition. PA CDL driver’s license required.

Maintenance Helper
Able to perform minor repair work along with general maintenance duties such as grass cutting and snow removal. A valid PA driver’s license is needed.
