Skilled Nursing

We assist our residents as they live out their lives in robust and independent health.  However, if they should need care due to the onset of an unexpected illness, it will be provided with compassion and dignity.  Whether for a few weeks or a few months, we provide a caring environment and quality nursing care allowing family members the peace of mind and confidence they require and deserve.

The HealthCare Center is a Medicare-licensed long-term care skilled nursing residence.  Consisting of 59 beds, it offers a complete program of short-term rehabilitation services and long-term round-the-clock nursing care.  A spectrum of care is available, including medication administration, IV care, wound care, restorative nursing, special diets and more with 24-hour supervision by our licensed nursing staff.  An electronic monitoring system helps support resident safety.

Our Woodside unit at the HealthCare Center is specifically designed to provide individualized care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias.   Individuals and families coping with the challenges of Alzheimer’s and other cognitive disorders will find the support they need in a secure, homelike setting.

A specially trained staff provides 24-hour supervision, with activity and exercise programs that incorporate the resident centered philosophy of treatment important to memory-related impairments. The staff works as a team with the residents and their families to create a unified approach to care and provides physical and emotional support.

A landscaped courtyard promotes healthy activity and allows residents a secure outdoor environment.
