We’re a Presbyterian SeniorCare Network Community.
Serving all faiths since 1928.
Our philosophy - providing residents with more choices in all aspects of community life - flows directly from our sponsor, Presbyterian SeniorCare Network. Presbyterian SeniorCare Network is a non-profit regional network of living and care options for older adults and persons with disabilities. Founded in 1928, Presbyterian SeniorCare Network is now Western Pennsylvania's largest provider of care and services to seniors. The organization has received CARF's highest accreditations for an aging services network. Its options include personal care, nursing care, specialty dementia care, adult day services, rehabilitation, home healthcare, hospice care, continuing care retirement communities, senior condominiums, low-income and supportive rental housing. Presbyterian SeniorCare Network's 2,500 employees serve 6,000 people each year. The organization’s enduring achievements are a key indicator of the financial strength of our community.
Philosophy of Caring
The Presbyterian SeniorCare Network Philosophy of Caring supports the values and attitudes of Person-Centered care to create communities rich in relationships, creativity and independence.
Person-Centered Care means that our care and services are designed in partnership with our residents and families. This Person-Centered approach enables and empowers all partners to be actively involved in the decision-making that affects their lives within the community.
Presbyterian SeniorCare Network communities provide a range of flexible and secure living and care environments that are not dictated by routine or regimentation, but rather emphasize individuality, respect, diversity, including a holistic approach to wellness and quality of life.
The relationships that develop as a result of the Person-Centered approach to care are the foundation needed to encourage and sustain the Presbyterian SeniorCare Network Philosophy of Caring.
