When the world is subdued, it’s important to stay sharp. Discover the many advantages of living at Longwood at Oakmont, including our partnership with Masterpiece Living, a nationally acclaimed organization that is committed to helping older adults maximize their potential socially, physically, spiritually and intellectually.
Even in times of crisis, Longwood residents have daily opportunities to grease and turn their cerebral wheels. Doorstep deliveries include Brain Games packets that include challenging puzzles and word searches. Zoom gatherings include Longwood ‘TED’ Talks that feature some of our talented and accomplished residents. Over 40 resident-led committees continue to converse and brainstorm online and by phone. And according to resident Pam York, our campus library “is one of the nicest libraries outside of a public library” she’s ever seen!
Watch the video below to learn more about our partnership with Masterpiece Living and how we’re helping our residents stimulate their minds during this uncertain time.
